The Songadh Forest Day, Fort, Gaumukh & Medha
Technically a Tapi-district day, included the way the dataset's travellers actually use it, as the northern extension of the Dang forest belt. Everything is monsoon-timed: the fort is the only stop worth making outside the rains.

Day 1
Ninety kilometres from Surat on NH-53 and doable as a long day trip: fort at opening light, then the forest falls. Trekking shoes for all three stops; Medha's path is the slipperiest. Hard-mode swap: replace both falls with Kaka-Kaki, the border 200-footer, but that is a guide-essential full day on its own, arranged the evening before at the approach villages. Soul-to-Prakriti falls sits two kilometres from Medha for completists.
