One of Saputara's original small attractions, and still a demonstration apiary at heart. Visitors see working hive frames behind glass, hear the basics of bee society and apiculture, and buy forest honey, Dang's multifloral forest honey being the genuine product worth carrying home.
It is a twenty-minute stop that lands best with children, folded between the lake and museum. Operations have run at varying energy over the years depending on the managing agency and season, so treat it as an opportunistic halt rather than an anchor, and if it is shut, honey from reputable local shops fills the same bag.
