Vangan's Ankada Dhodh had a small vlog moment, 'newly discovered beautiful location, sixteen kilometres from Vansda', and the map has since caught up with pins for the falls, its twin Advait a short walk east, and the Gandavle hill above the village for those who want a viewpoint with their waterfall. Administratively this is Vansda taluka of Navsari; experientially it belongs to the same western forest orbit as Vansda National Park and Janki Van.

Expect a village-lane approach, a forest walk in, and monsoon-only flow. The Gandavle climb is the add-on for clear days, village fields and border forest from above.

Highlights

  • The vlogs' 'newly discovered' Ankada Dhodh
  • Advait falls and the Gandavle hill viewpoint in the same village
  • Rounds out the Vansda–Waghai western day

Traveller tips

  • Do falls, Advait and the hill as one village outing
  • Combine with Janki Van or Vansda NP for the full western day

Safety

  • Wet rock is slick, grip footwear
  • The Gandavle slopes are open, avoid in lightning weather
