The Dino Trail plants a paleontological footnote in the campus: the Narmada valley is genuine dinosaur country, Rajasaurus narmadensis, an Indian predator, was described from fossils found in this river's basin, and the trail runs that fact through life-size models along a landscaped walk, crowned by a very large, very photographed Rajasaurus.
It is unapologetically a kids' stop: twenty to thirty minutes of roaring photo ops with signboards that smuggle in real science. With under-10s it earns its ticket; without them, it is a drive-past unless the fossil angle charms you.

History & lore
Rajasaurus narmadensis, 'the regal reptile of the Narmada', was described in 2003 from fossils recovered in the Narmada basin, giving India its own named large predator and this trail its excuse.
